General Care
• Avoid water and moisture: Vachetta is absorbent and can stain or darken if exposed to water or oils. If it gets wet, blot gently with a clean, dry cloth and allow it to air dry naturally.
• Protect from direct sunlight: Prolonged exposure can speed up darkening. Store your item away from strong sunlight when not in use.
• Let it age naturally: Vachetta will darken and develop a golden honey tone over time—this is not a flaw, but a hallmark of authentic, high-quality vegetable-tanned leather.

Cleaning
• Use a soft, dry cloth or slightly damp cloth for surface dust.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, soaps, or baby wipes as they may stain or dry out the leather.
• For deeper cleaning, use a pH-neutral leather cleaner specifically designed for vegetable-tanned leathers.

• Apply a leather conditioner every 3–6 months to keep the leather soft and supple.
• Always test conditioners on a hidden area first, as they may slightly darken the leather.
